How to Install Scrapebold From Outside the Chrome Web Store

You can install this extension outside the Chrome web store by adding a command-line flag.

  1. Search “Chrome” in the taskbar. Right-click the Chrome icon, select “Open file location”.
  2. Right-click the Chrome shortcut icon in the file manager. Select “Properties”.
  3. Select the Shortcut tab and add the text “–enable-easy-off-store-extension-install” to the end of the Target box.
  4. Close all Chrome windows and launch Chrome from the shortcut you modified.
